Booking Information

• ・Online reservation requests are available until 5 days before your preferred tour date.
• ・If your preferred date is within 5 days, please contact us by phone: 0152-22-5041.
• ・ We will send you a confirmation email within 3 days of receiving your request.
• ・This email contains important information about your tour.
  Please note: Your reservation is not confirmed until we receive your reply to the confirmation email. If we do not receive your reply within a few days, your reservation request will be cancelled.
• ・We are often out guiding tours during the day, so replies may take some time.
• ・If you are in a hurry, or if you do not receive a reply after 3 days, please call us at 0152-22-5041.

Participant Limit & Eligibility

• Maximum number of participants: Approximately 9 per program Minimum number
• required to operate: 1 person
• Eligibility: Participants must be junior high school age or older and meet the specific requirements of the program.

【Participation Restrictions】
• ・ Pregnant people: There is no Ob/Gyn around here.
• ・ Drunk people: Don’t drink before or during the tour.
• ・ Disobedient to the guide: May compromise safety.

【Tour Guidelines】
• ・The tour schedule is regulated by park rules, which can be changed suddenly.
• ・We cannot delay the tour start/end.
• ・Please be fully prepared by meeting time and place, and be there with all members.
  If you cannot make it, we won't take you to the tour and need the cancellation fee.
• ・No toilet after we meet until back to Utoro town.
• ・In case of the weather condition and so, the tour can be canceled, shorten, or changed walking route.
• ・Depending on snow and ice conditions, the tour season may end earlier than scheduled.
• ・Tour cancellation can be decided suddenly, like on the tour date sometimes.
• ・Our tour guide will provide guidance in English only. However, please note that we are not all fluent English speakers. Thank you for your understanding.

Reservation Process

• ・After we confirm your booking details, we will send you a secure online payment link by email.
• ・Please complete your payment within 4 days from when the link is sent (Japan Standard Time).
• ・Once your payment is confirmed, your reservation will be finalized.

About Fees & Payment

• Included in the fee:
  Guide fee, insurance, and consumption tax

  JCB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay
• * Ski suit rental fee must be paid in cash (Japanese yen only) on the day of the tour.
• 
  【Payment Fees】
  All payments are made in Japanese Yen (JPY). Depending on your credit card company, a currency conversion fee may apply.
• 
  【Important Notes】
  ・If we do not receive your payment within the deadline, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
  * Please note that even if the payment link still opens, your reservation will not be confirmed if the payment is made after the deadline.
• If you are unable to pay within the deadline due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact us in advance. If we do not hear from you and the deadline passes, all reservations will be cancelled.
• 
  【Refunds】
  If you make a payment after the deadline, your reservation will be invalid, and we will refund the amount minus a handling fee.
  *Depending on your credit card company, a currency conversion fee may also be deducted from your refund.

About Insurance

• ・All participants will be enrolled in accident insurance for each program.
• ・Coverage includes:
  – Death or permanent disability: ¥10,000,000
  – Hospitalization: ¥6,000 per day
  – Outpatient treatment: ¥3,000 per day

Cancellation Policy

• If you cancel your reservation for personal reasons, a cancellation fee will be charged as shown below. No cancellation fee will be charged if the tour is canceled due to bad weather.

❗ Please note: A processing fee will be deducted from all refunds, regardless of the reason (e.g. personal circumstances or weather).
Example: If you cancel 1 month before the tour → Refund = Full tour fee − processing fee
*Your credit card company may also charge a currency conversion fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

Program Cancellation & Refund Policy

• ・The program may be cancelled in case of severe weather conditions such as blizzards, poor visibility, or when weather warnings or advisories (e.g. heavy snow or strong winds) are issued and safety cannot be ensured.
• ・If the program is cancelled before it starts, no fee will be charged.
• ・If the program is cancelled after it has started due to sudden weather changes, we regret that no refund can be provided

About Transportation (Pick-up & Drop-off)

• ・If you are staying in Utoro, we will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
• ・If you are staying outside Utoro or prefer us to pick you up at a location other than your hotel, the meeting point will be at Mischino eki Utoro Shirietoku (道の駅うとろシリエトク).
• ・We do not have parking space for participants, so please use our pick-up service.
• ・Outside Utoro, such as Rausu or downtown Shari cannot be meeting point.
• ・Pick-up time would be 10 – 30 minutes before the tour starts, depending on the number of stops. We will text you to inform your pick-up time at night, 2 days before the tour, or call you to inform your pick-up time at night, day before the tour.
